What could have been more innocent than my Boss, Mr Abwemi, asking my Wife, Jessica and i to spend a weekend with him on his new yacht. As one of his more senior employees it was not unusual for him to ask one of the management team to enjoy some relaxing free time with him, and Jessica seemed especially eager to enjoy his hospitality.
When he heard that my Wife and i had been invited, my work colleague Martin took me aside and told me that he and his Wife Anna had spent some time on our Boss's yacht and that it had changed their marriage forever.
"Be prepared for a very enlightening experience," he had said mysteriously.
Well, Martin was right. Mr Abwemi, or 'Master', as my Wife now refers to him, has changed our marriage - for the better. According to Jessica - and me.
